We've been enjoying Kindergarten around here. We start school on the sofa singing some songs: we've learned a few clappy Sunday school songs, most of Rock of Ages (the J.Ward tune), and have just begun Before the Throne of God (James likes the slow pretty ones). Then we work on Bible memory: the boys know Ps. 100 and Ps. 1, and we've just started on Eph. 6:1-4. Then we read a chapter in our Bible story book. Math comes next, and at this point Liam wanders off (he used to sit at the table with us but that didn't last long). Next is snack break outside for about half an hour, which they love. Phonics follows (the bane of James' existence, though he does a great job), and we finish with Handwriting, which he loves.
Learning about number bonds:
Writing!:
Cider and Stories - intended to fill up the usually horrible late afternoon hours, but sometimes pushed to bedtime if they've been riding bikes instead. This counts as school, right?

So glad to get such wonderful update. I'm a proud Nan!
Ps, boys aren't supposed to like handwriting...but then he's not just any boy.
