This morning James asked tentatively "Am I four yet?," and as it was only 9:30, technically he wasn't. We waited for the 11:11 on the clock and then it was official. There was the usual birthday banner and balloons, and Daddy stayed home to make James breakfast and give him his Lightning McQueen card. After dinner we opened a few presents and ate the cupcakes we'd made together. We read a few chapters of his new Peter Pan book, and the boys giggled and gave us all thimbles (kisses). Happy birthday to our sweet, big boy Jamesy!

Happy Birthday, Jamesy!!! Maybe one of these days we'll get to celebrate our birthdays together...
I hope Seahorse did not see James eating the seahorse cookie. We can't wait for the pirate party on Saturday!
