This is the first year I've made my mom's Christmas cookies. It's a recipe from NannyinRichmond (all one word), my great-grandmother. James was super-excited to make them, and of course to EAT THEM. I think he's shouting "Christmas cookies!" in all of these pictures, per mama's request:
